A general question. I'm not looking for a solution at this point. I just want to know if what I'm asking can be done in JB, and if not, why not. (That is, what is the limiting factor in JB?)

Can a program be written in JB that will access this justbasic site and download the "10 most recent posts"?

The target is only an example that is easy to relate to. It' not what I want to do.

I'm not sure about downloading but it is certainly possible to navigate to sites.
This thread will get you started.
Down near the bottom of the page is the code that links to the forums '10 most recent posts'.

In Liberty BASIC you would be able to grab the HTML used to create the pages and save to file.
The actual text could be extracted and formatted for your application's use.

There are VB code that downloads any URL.
geturl with vbscript

10 most recent posts is just an URL after all.
Then you would have to process that informaition with JB - getting stuff you actually need.

There was great example recently
