I would have to risk website space, but I'll post one Finale and one MIDI version later of the Mario theme.

== VIDEO GAME STUFF ==
www.vgmusic.com
Compiled MIDs of Video Game Music.

www.videogamepianist.com
This is the website of the guy who made the sheet music on gprime.net.

== ZELDA BASED ITEMS ==
zelda.rpgplanet.gamespy.com
This is an old discontinued website, but it has both MIDs of Zelda game music and undated, unsigned (as in it has no signature) sheet music from Zelda. Discontinued in 2005(?), it was a great site.

tileshop.purezc.com
Tilemaps. Use these in games with top-down view (like The Legend of Zelda and Pac-Man)

www.purezc.com
Devshop for the game Zelda Classic: www.zeldaclassic.com

Hi Dodica,

I don't know if anybody else is aware of this ... but
I found this link to ari's new website.

http://www.flyingyogi.com/fun/spritelib.html

There are some new sprite tiles in his spritlib ... and a free download for his book on how to make sprites ..
hope this helps.

This might be of some help also...
http://www.openclipart.org/index.php
it's a great resauce for public domain clip art.

Here are a couple links to free image manipulation software. I use these and they are excellent programs in my opinion.

Here are a few sites. You may need to touch up some of the images to make a solid background, and you'll definitely need to mask the images if you intend to use sprites.

Public Domain Clip Art
karenswhimsy.com
wpclipart.com

and my personal favorite for obtaining public domain and creative commons license artwork -
Open Clip Art Library - Images by mystica

I know there's a masking program over at the JB Archives.

Nope, those are just resources, bmps, wavs, midis, and software to create resources.
