Here is a good site containing over 20,000 midi files from hundreds (maybe thousands) of video games from many different consoles over the years.

Check it out, some good content.

Here's one I just learned about:

Lots of different genres and categories to choose from.

Just be sure that the license covering the art work/music is appropriate for your software as it varies from GPL to Public Domain.
