We are going to kick off a series of Winter challenges, there will be one that suits you. Everyone is invited to participate. Using Just BASIC, code whatever you can and show us what you have.

These are not contests as we used to run, more fun challenges and ideas to get you coding again.

The challenges will be listed on the Contest board. If you are participating and have something to show start a new thread on the General board.

No hard time limits, we will set fresh challenges next year, so you have plenty of time to polish your submission.

(If you live in the Southern Hemisphere this is a summer hols coding challenge )

I am confused.

If I choose to participate, and post a program, why on the General Board?

Why are we not having a thread for each new idea within the main Programming Challenges board, with the submissions within that thread?

In the past the challenge board used to be locked to prevent folks posting lots of homework challenges and such. So one set of challenges and multiple user attempts in the general board was the idea. But post where you like, it's all good fun.

This looks interesting. I want to participate, but I haven't used Just BASIC for years.

There are people here eager to help, just post some JB code with a question if you get stuck; post on general board, novice board or challenge board if you are going for one in particular. smiley
