xx Way to check window open??
« Thread started on: Nov 29th, 2017, 12:32pm »

I was wondering is there a way to check if a window is open. I can't seem to find this anywhere.

I actually resolved the issue I initially posted about where Ithought this would be helpful but was still curious. thanks

one way is use flags.
for example if window1 is open then put flag1=0 if it is closed flag1=1 and so on for other windows too.
the other way is using on error function.
i have shown below a sample program to check file is opened or not . you write a similar code for window.
Code:
 open "abc.txt" for append as#1
       print eof(#1)
   close #1
  on error goto [closed]
     print eof(#1)
    wait
[closed]
print "file cosed"
