The runtime engine, and all it's Dll's, Sll's. would be eaysier to find if they were all in one folder, instead of scattered over the examples directory.
it's really just the base dir, but it has more examples, than folders.

They are not really scattered. They are probably in alphabetical order, all in the Just BASIC 1.01 folder. You can corrall the runtime engine and the SLL and DLL files into one single file as a zipped file; and simply extract/unpack the file into a project folder when you are ready to make a distributable package of a finished program. I in fact do as such.

That's what i have done. but it was hard to locate just the files i needed, as i havent ever used a runtime engine before. i put all the components into a folder, and use them when i need to.

it helps people like me who can't read the filenames propperly, and when we move the file into the folder, it dosent work sad but atleast i got it working.

I still suggest creating a zipped file instead of just one folder; you can unpack the set of files into as many project folders as you want. This way, you do not need to perform the common-level windows copy & move operations.

Why is finding the files by their filenames so difficult? You should find the SLL and DLL files in alphabetical order in the Just BASIC 1.01 folder, and you will find the jbrun101.exe in its proper place alphabetically in this same folder.

You could always create a new folder and move the BAS files there but I really like Too's idea of creating a zip with copies of the required DLLs, SLLs, and runtime engine.

Do Not remove the DLLs and SLLs from JB's folder!
JB needs these files to run.

yeah, the zipped folder sounds like a good idea.
