There is no setting to allow the IDE and debugger to memorize their size and position.

The position of the upper-left corner is at the position of the mouse pointer, when the window opens.

The position of the debugger is always at the bottom-left of the screen, not taking the visible area into account, which is the screen size reduced by the task bar.

This is already an enhancement request.

thanks stefan,

and what Carl said about that ?
it seem not a very complex mod... using "justbasic1.ini" !?
it's the same with LB !

good info : So, i must place the *.bas icon file that i work on upper left on my desktop screen...

Nothing is possible for the debugger at this time...!

There should be freeware applications available, which would handle the memorizing for you.

I just stumbled across a program, which will fulfill this request.

Try WinSize2, which allows one to define where and how big any window will open.

You can make the Just BASIC IDE (editor) be in "fullscreen" mode when you start it up by going to Setup > Preferences. Then check the "Start Just Basic Editor full screen".

Yes, the IDE can be opened full screen, but the bottom will be covered by the task bar, if it is not set to automatically hide.

On the other hand there is no way to control the debugger window, so the WinSize2 utility will take care of both situations, since some people don't like to open windows full screen.
