xx IDE: pressing NEW could not be cancelled
« Thread started on: Nov 7th, 2017, 2:08pm »

Now, this is a thing I just run into.
I opened example program
made some changes
then pressed "New" button on the toolbar.
JB presented me with Confirm dialog
Code:
-Please confirm--------
Save changes
[Yes] [No]
-----------------------

If I press No, I lost changes.
If I press Yes, I spoil initial file.
I really expect ESC to come to the rescue and abort "New" operation, but ESC just does nothing.
Could that be changed?

For the reference, MS Windows Notepad on selecting File|New offers
Code:
------------------------
Text has been changed.
Save changes?
[Yes] [No] [Cancel]
------------------------

dialog, with ESC triggering Cancel part as well.

Q: "And if I took your codes and compile them, and sell them for a profit"?
A: Go ahead. I had my share of good then I coded it for fun, if you can make better use of it - please do.
(enjoying JB 1.01 on WinXP, netbook and desktop)
