Instead of Quote:
Graphics Window

1. PRINT #WindowHandle, "print"
2. PRINT #WindowHandle, "print vga"
3. PRINT #WindowHandle, "print svga"
4. PRINT #WindowHandle, "print xga"
5. #WindowHandle "print"
6. #WindowHandle "print vga"
7. #WindowHandle "print svga"
8. #WindowHandle "print xga"

We could use Quote:
1. #Handle "print"
2. #Handle "print vga"
3. #Handle "print svga"
4. #Handle "print xga"

Where #Handle would link to a general page about handles, which includes information about their global status, uniqueness and syntax for windows/files and controls.

What do you think?

Here's my vote...
I'm in favor of any link that helps users understand syntax and terminology.

I like using #handle to represent the ID of a window, file, or other device.

And I like using the short version, without print and the comma, although either way is of course acceptable. Reason is, more up-to-date usage, and more succinct.

I say yes.
But, is there a drawback using the short version, is it slower ?

What do we do with the controls,
Quote:
#Handle.Handle "print"

or
Quote:
#Handle.ControlHandle "print"

Using the short format the focus will be on the handle and not on the PRINT command.

The link to the BB___Handles page will allow describing the format of handles in respect to their use in full detail and there is no need to include this information on each page of a method.
In addition it will include the long and short format of using handles, since the BB___Command_String page is used for one of two cases where handles are used.
